As one of our four core business units, the Stoves Business Unit brings together top brands such as Harman, Vermont Castings, and Quadra-Fire, now united under one as Forge & Flame, alongside other stove brands. This unit focuses on delivering high-quality, reliable stove solutions, including wood, pellet, and gas models.
Each summer, 10+ students from a variety of majors, join the HHT family for a summer focused on hands on learning, professional development, and networking. HHT interns receive a project (or two!) for the summer and work directly with a mentor for technical and professional guidance. Throughout the summer, professional development sessions are provided for interns including opportunities to learn from and network with senior leadership.
Join our Stoves Business Unit marketing team as a Digital & Brand Support intern. This opportunity is tailored for individuals who are passionate about analyzing market trends, online opportunities and supporting go-to-market strategic plans. You will engage in a range of projects, including in-depth competitive social landscape analysis and comprehensive portfolio analysis. This hands-on experience will not only give you a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the manufacturing sector but also hone your skills in strategic thinking, market analysis and experience using industry standard tools.
Ideal candidates should have a keen interest in digital marketing and product development, exhibit strong analytical skills, and be eager to learn and contribute to a team environment. This internship presents a unique opportunity to gain valuable industry experience, develop professional skills, and build a foundation for a successful career in marketing and product strategy.
What it takes:
* Pursuing a four-year degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
* Strong leadership characteristics reflected in school or work environments.
* Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
* Adaptability and flexibility
* Strong communication skills are required
Projects for the Summer:
* You Tube consolidation & optimization: inventorying all current videos and sources, preparing assets for the new brand, and rebuilding the Forge & Flame identifying 10-15 potential partners, and creating a "Why Partner with Forge & Flame?" reverse media kit channel with updated playlists.
* Social competitive analysis: reviewing content, engagement, and platform strategy across specialty and HIR competitors and identifying trends and opportunities using tools like Spout Social, Meltwater, and SEMrush.
* Influencer program groundwork: developing an influencer evaluation checklist.
