Job Description

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Registered Nurse to join our Target Health & Wellbeing Clinic! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary

Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, scope of practice, along with recognized professional standards and Health Partner and employer specific protocols and policy.

Triage/Ambulatory Registered Nurse Role
  • Telephone triage coverage 2-3 days per week
    • Lower call volume than other primary care sites
    • Target sites do not utilize call center, so all calls come directly into clinic
    • Refill management using standing orders
    • In-basket work (e-visits, patient message management)
  • Manage daily nurse schedule (with support from nursing team)
    • Lab visits (nurse to perform phlebotomy and process labs or specimens to be resulted onsite or sent out for processing)
    • Allergy Shot Injections
    • Provide patient education (injection teaching, BP follow-up, etc.)
    • Walk‑In triage patients
      • With red‑flag list symptoms (chest pain, shortness of breath, anaphylactic reaction, etc.)
  • Assist with rooming of provider visits as needed
  • Patient outreach for quality metrics (preventative & chronic conditions)
  • Business Travel Consult Management
    • Standing orders for travel medication refills
    • Immunization follow‑up
Work Schedule
  • Monday
    - Friday Clinic Hours
  • 7:00am-5:00pm Monday-Thursday
  • 7:00am- 3:00pm Fridays
  • No evenings, No weekends
Required Qualifications
  • Maintain a current Minnesota registered nurse’s licensure.
  • WI licensure required where applicable.
  • Current BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
  • No online only courses accepted.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Ambulatory Nursing Experience
  • 1 year of prior experience in nursing preferred.
