** Key Position Details:
** Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute is seeking a Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider to join the practice based at United Hospital in St. Paul.

Weekend rotation once every 6th-8th weekend.

* Job Description:

**** Principle Responsibilities:
*** Completes comprehensive patient assessments
* Determines diagnosis and treatment of illness
* Orders and interprets medical diagnostics in tandem with attending physician
* Prescribes medications, treatments, therapy and medical equipment
* Conducts patient education when working to manage chronic illness or wellness care
*
* Required Qualifications:

*** Master's degree - Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*** New graduates may be considered. Prefer a minimum of 2 years experience in cardiology or ICU
*
* Licenses/Certifications:

*** Master's degree completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program required
* Certification as a Physician Assistant - NCCPA
-National Commission Certification of Physician Assistants upon hire required or Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC) - American Nurse Credentialing Center or (AANP) American Association for Nurse Practitioners required upon hire
* Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire (NP candidates)
* Active MN & WI NP/PA license (or ability to obtain).
* BLS certification required with in 180 days of hire.
* Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
* Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges.

** Pay Range**### Pay Range: $56.48 to $78.15 per hour### The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.###
