Job Title:
Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) | 7 On / 7 Off

Compensation: $54.09-$78.13/hour for active visit time + $5.10-$12.00/hour beeper pay

Schedule: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off | Evening & Overnight On-Call

What You'll Do
  • Respond to after-hours hospice calls and urgent patient needs.
  • Perform emergency nursing visits for symptom management, pain control, medication administration, and clinical assessment.
  • Provide telephone support and education to patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary hospice team to coordinate care.
  • Complete accurate and timely EMR documentation.
What You'll Bring
  • Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Hospice experience preferred; nurses from home health, oncology, ICU, palliative care, or other end-of-life care settings are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing urgent clinical situations.
  • Strong communication and compassionate patient care.
  • Availability to participate in the 7 On / 7 Off evening and overnight schedule.
