We are seeking an experienced Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Long-Term Care (LTC) opportunity in Buffalo Center, IA. Key Responsibilities- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and track resident responses in the EHR
- Perform routine wound care, dressing changes, and treatments per care plans
- Assess changes in resident conditions and communicate promptly with physicians, RNs, and family members
- Collaborate with CNAs and therapists to assist with daily living activities and rehabilitation programs
- Maintain strict safety protocols and precise clinical documentation
- Education:
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program - Licensure:
Active Iowa LPN license or a valid compact/multistate LPN license - Certifications:
Current BLS/CPR certification - Experience:
1+ years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities - Strong communication skills and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Background in specialized wound care or palliative care principles
