The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is a growth role that develops future leaders to think strategically about the store, district and Caribou as a whole. The AGM works in partnership with the General Manager to run the store, impact the team and community.

• Demonstrates the DOING of Team Member and Shift Leader with ease, enthusiasm and excellence.
• Is responsible for developing their understanding of the business to the level of a General Manager over the course of a year.
• Is the spark for joy to everyone who walks into the store, creating real connections that last beyond the immediate interaction and teaching the team to do the same.
• Champions an environment that fosters goal‑surpassing speed through deployment, in‑the‑moment problem solving and team motivation.
• Takes responsibility for hitting sales goals through the connection between speed & service.
• Leads problem resolution, showing calm, professionalism, emotional maturity and a commitment to listening.
• Bridges day‑to‑day behaviors to the Profit & Loss statement and stores’ success.
• Organizes, executes and improves administrative tasks, linking daily/weekly/monthly operations to overall business success.
• Responsible for all store funds while on shift by enforcing cash‑handling policies.
• Places, receives and verifies orders; conducts inventory; controls waste; rotates inventory.
• Thinks holistically about the store’s success—beyond the immediate shift.
• Seeks sustainable change by understanding root causes of problems.

• Required:
  
  1‑3 years of restaurant or retail experience with strong customer‑service commitment.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Availability for early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.

Preferred:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.

Hearing, speaking, seeing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for 4‑8 hours. Accommodations available.

$16.52 – $27.53 per hour
