Title: Business Development Sales Representative

Compensation: base salary + uncapped commission (Full-time W2)

Location: Remote (must live in MN or Western WI)

Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by our client to recruit for a Business Development Sales Representative to join their team. This role is perfect for a driven, strategic sales professional who wants to act as a trusted advisor, helping companies accelerate their growth through their consultative, relationship-first approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and engage high-value accounts within target industries using email, Linked In, and calls.
  • Qualify leads based on Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) criteria: company size, industry fit, budget, and decision-maker access.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect challenges, goals, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop tailored marketing solutions and proposals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: outreach, qualification, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Maintain accurate data in Hub Spot CRM for activity tracking and pipeline visibility.
  • Meet or exceed weekly activity goals to build a strong, predictable sales pipeline.

Required Skills:

  • 3–7 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or agency sales.
  • Proven success managing the full sales cycle, preferably in a service-based or marketing agency environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Consultative sales mindset—lead with curiosity, insight, and empathy.
  • Experience with Hub Spot CRM (or similar) preferred.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, B2B, or industrial markets strongly preferred.
  • Base salary plus competitive, uncapped commission structure.
