Ingredients Plus is a technology-driven ingredient solutions provider serving the food and beverage industry. We operate a private fleet of CDL-A tractors, tanker trailers, dry bulk pneumatic trailers, dry van trailers, and support equipment. Our in-house maintenance team plays a critical role in keeping our operation running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Our technicians work on a diverse mix of equipment and systems, including Kenworth and Mack tractors, diesel engines, air brake systems, steering and suspension components, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, DPF and aftertreatment systems, and trailer equipment. This position plays a key role in supporting safe, reliable, and efficient fleet operations through quality maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs.
As a Fleet Technician III, you will serve as a senior technician within the shop, performing advanced diagnostics, major component repairs, complex troubleshooting, and a wide range of maintenance and repair activities across our fleet. This role is responsible for helping maintain equipment reliability while supporting the shop's overall maintenance operation through independent decision-making, technical expertise, and problem solving. This position is ideal for an experienced diesel technician who enjoys diagnosing difficult issues, performing complex repairs, and working on a diverse mix of equipment and systems.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* This position requires the flexibility to work various shifts, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and overtime, as needed. Additional weekend shifts may be mandated based on business needs.
What You'll Do
- Perform inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on tractors, trailers, and fleet equipment
- Diagnose and repair air brake, hydraulic, suspension, steering, HVAC, electrical, engine, and trailer systems
- Diagnose and repair advanced engine performance concerns
- Diagnose and repair DEF, DPF, SCR, and aftertreatment system faults
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues, including CAN communication and module-related faults
- Perform major component repairs and replacements, including engines, transmissions, clutches, driveline components, and related systems
- Perform DOT inspections and compliance-related repairs
- Utilize diagnostic software and OEM systems to support troubleshooting and repairs
- Respond to road service needs and complex field repairs as required
