Irrigation Crew Lead

Total Turf Maintenance, a family-owned leader in lawn, landscape, irrigation, and commercial snow services, is seeking an experienced Irrigation Crew Lead to join our team in the South Metro area. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you will take ownership of irrigation service work, repairs, installations, inspections, and troubleshooting. • Lead daily irrigation service and installation projects, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency
• Independently troubleshoot and diagnose irrigation system issues, including electrical and controller problems
• Repair and replace irrigation components such as heads, valves, piping, fittings, and wiring
• Adjust and program irrigation heads and controllers for optimal system performance
• Conduct comprehensive property and system inspections to identify leaks, dry areas, and other deficiencies
• Perform irrigation system startups and winterizations
• Assist with and lead new irrigation installations and system modifications
• Determine materials and parts needed for each job and maintain organized tools and equipment
• Document completed work, parts used, and any unresolved issues or follow-up needs using LMN software
• Take photos of completed work and property conditions for records
• Communicate clearly with team members and clients regarding issues, estimates, and additional work requirements
• Direct and train irrigation crew members when working with additional employees
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on all job sites

• Proven experience in irrigation system service, repair, troubleshooting, and installation
• Experience with irrigation heads, valves, controllers, wiring, startups, winterizations, and general system operation
• Previous leadership experience or ability to direct and train crew members is strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks

$25.00–$35.00 per hour
, based on irrigation experience and leadership ability.
