Heavy Haul Truck Driver

Job Description

Provide safe transportation of heavy equipment following company policy and procedures. Promote excellent customer service while achieving company goals. This position is responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of equipment to customer sites on schedule, while adhering to Midstate company safety regulations as well as state and federal laws/guidelines. Responsible for completing all required documentation and maintenance files.

• Must be qualified, certified, and Class A, CDL licensed for vehicle operation and heavy equipment operation.
• Driver is responsible to adhere to all applicable FMCSA regulations, including current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Fill out and submit all required paperwork and turn in receipts.
• Good driving record required.
• Must maintain high level of accuracy in load sizing for both weight and dimensionally.
• Must be able to read and correctly use permits, diagrams, and sketches describing off‑highway locations, routes, and job sites.

• Ability to sit/driving for long periods of time up to 11 hrs in a 14‑hour shift.
• Ability to work the required hours to get the job in a timely manner.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• CDL and experience with 7–13 axle equipment.
