The purpose of the Warehouse Team Member is to receive; store; and distribute material; tools; equipment; and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

• Assist shipping and receiving; unloading trucks; checking in merchandise; matching purchase orders to sales orders
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code
• File requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area
• Ensure warehouses are accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department
• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via ERP system
• Assist in counting physical inventory
• Weigh and count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
• Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times

• High School diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience

• 1+ year of prior warehouse experience
• 1+ year of prior experience in forklift operation

• Ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less for up to 10 hours per day
• Exposure to variation in temperature, including work for prolong periods in a freezer environment

• Able to manage working in a diverse environment
• Ability to practice open communication for effective conflict management

• Must have basic math skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Hearing and Visual skills
• Understand and follow First-In-First-Out (FIFO) Policy
• Understand basic food safety requirements to position
• Ability to safely operate a Forklift and Pallet Jack
