Role Description The Supervisor role is a full‑time, on‑site position located in Lakeway, TX. The Supervisor oversees daily operations, ensuring that team members follow established procedures, meet performance goals, and deliver consistent, high‑quality service. This includes scheduling staff, assigning tasks, monitoring productivity, and supporting a safe, organized, and customer‑focused work environment. The Supervisor provides coaching and feedback to team members, assists with training, and helps resolve operational and customer issues.
The role also involves tracking key metrics, supporting inventory or program processes as applicable, and collaborating with leadership to meet organizational standards and support Goodwill Central Texas’s mission.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including supervising teams, providing coaching, and supporting performance management.
- Experience in customer service or retail, with skills in communication, conflict resolution, and maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage daily operations efficiently.
- Basic proficiency with computers and point‑of‑sale or operational systems, including email, office software, and data entry.
- Ability to work on‑site in Lakeway, TX, including standing, walking, and light physical tasks as required for day‑to‑day operations.
- Commitment to Goodwill Central Texas’s mission of empowering individuals facing barriers to employment, and to fostering an inclusive work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or experience in supervision, retail, or nonprofit settings is beneficial.
- Reliable work habits, integrity, and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
