Dental Biller – Full Time

Lakewood Dental Arts | Lakewood, CA 32–40 hours per week

Lakewood Dental Arts is a well-established, multi-specialty dental practice seeking an experienced Dental Biller to join our administrative team. This role is essential in supporting accurate billing, insurance follow-up, and patient account management.

• Submit and manage electronic dental insurance claims
• Post insurance and patient payments accurately
• Follow up on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims
• Send patient statements and monitor account balances
• Assist callers with account inquiries, including billing and insurance questions
• Collect patient account balances and review available payment options, including insurance estimates and office payment policies
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• Communicate with insurance carriers regarding claims, appeals, and EOBs
• Maintain accurate records within Open Dental
• Support front office and treatment coordinators as needed

• Minimum 3 years dental billing experience (required)
• Familiar with submitting electronic insurance claims
• Strong understanding of dental codes (CDT), EOBs, PPO and HMO plans
• Open Dental experience preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills

• Full-time position: 32–40 hours per week
