Cloud Solution Architect
JOB SUMMARYWe are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join the Infrastructure Operations organization and help advance the company’s cloud platform strategy. This role will be responsible for designing and supporting secure, scalable cloud environments while contributing to cloud governance, enterprise security, automation, platform engineering, hybrid connectivity, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across Azure infrastructure and enterprise cloud architecture, with the ability to work across identity, networking, Dev Ops, security, monitoring, automation, and cloud migration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Architect and deliver enterprise-grade Azure infrastructure solutions that align with organizational architecture, security, compliance, and operational standards.
- Establish and maintain Azure governance frameworks using Management Groups, Azure Policy, compliance controls, and cloud guardrails.
- Design and administer cloud identity and access solutions using Microsoft Entra , hybrid identity, Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
- Develop secure Azure network architectures involving Virtual Networks (VNets), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Private DNS, VPN connectivity, Express Route, and hub-and-spoke models.
- Support integration between on-premises infrastructure and Azure cloud services within hybrid enterprise environments.
- Provide administration and operational support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) environments.
- Implement modern Infrastructure-as-Code and Dev Ops practices using technologies such as Terraform, Bicep, Azure Dev Ops, and Git Hub Actions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational processes to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Support containerized and microservices-based platforms using AKS, Docker, Kubernetes, and related Azure container services.
- Develop automation scripts and operational tooling using Power Shell and Python.
- Manage enterprise endpoint and mobile device management capabilities through platforms such as Microsoft Intune and Kandji.
- Support administration and security operations across Microsoft 365, Office 365, and Microsoft Purview.
- Implement and manage Microsoft cloud security technologies, including Microsoft Defender solutions and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Coordinate cloud patching, vulnerability remediation, security hardening, and infrastructure compliance activities.
- Lead or support complex enterprise cloud transformation and migration programs.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues involving Azure infrastructure, networking, identity, security, and cloud services.
- Monitor and improve Azure consumption through cost management, financial forecasting, budgeting, and resource optimization.
- Research emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to the organization’s Azure platform and engineering practices.
- Design and maintain cloud-based backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and resiliency strategies.
- Collaborate with development and technology teams to support SDLC activities and Dev Ops processes.
- Produce and maintain detailed architecture diagrams, operational procedures, technical standards, and other infrastructure documentation.
- At least 5 years of professional experience working with Microsoft Azure.
- Strong knowledge of the Azure Well-Architected Framework and Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and supporting hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience with Azure-based AI and machine learning infrastructure and services, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, and Azure API Management (APIM).
- Working knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and security principles.
- Understanding of enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) technologies and practices.
- Experience with serverless architecture and services, including Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Candidates with one or more of the following certifications are preferred:
Microsoft Certified:
Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified:
Azure Administrator Associate, or other equivalent Azure or cloud architecture certifications.
