  • Monitor Customs, FDA, and agency releases, holds, exams, and pending shipments
  • Resolve documentation discrepancies and communicate with customers regarding missing information
  • Coordinate with carriers, steamship lines, CFS facilities, warehouses, and trucking companies to ensure timely cargo release
  • Correct entry, bill of lading, and documentation errors that could delay clearance
  • Maintain communication with internal teams throughout the import process
  • Transfer completed files to the post-entry team for final processing
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of customs brokerage or customs entry writing experience
  • Experience processing customs entries in a high-volume environment
  • Strong knowledge of HTS classification, Customs regulations, FDA, PGA, ISF, and import compliance
  • Experience with Cargo Wise, ACE/ABI, Questa Web, Descartes, NETCHB, or similar customs brokerage systems is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve documentation discrepancies
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

This is a full-time onsite opportunity with a collaborative team that values accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service.
