Join the Eric Uzeta Agency, a Farmers Insurance agency as an Insurance Sales Advisor.
We are seeking a driven, customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, having meaningful conversations, and helping people find insurance coverage that fits their individual needs. In this role, you’ll connect with both new and existing customers, learn about their unique situations, educate them on their coverage options, and recommend insurance solutions that provide the protection they need.
The ideal candidate is personable, confident, and comfortable communicating with a wide range of customers. You should be proactive with follow-up, motivated by goals, and eager to contribute to both your individual success and the success of the agency. Previous insurance experience is a plus, but it is not required. We encourage candidates with backgrounds in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or other relationship-driven industries to apply.

- Proactively engage with prospective customers through outbound calls, internet leads, referrals, networking, and agency marketing efforts.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Take the time to understand each customer’s individual needs and recommend insurance products and coverage options that align with their situation.
- Prepare accurate quotes and confidently present and sell auto, home, renters, umbrella, life, and other available insurance products.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional value through cross-selling and help customers recognize and address potential coverage gaps.
- Educate customers on coverage options, deductibles, limits, discounts, policy features, and available protection in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
- Maintain consistent, timely, and professional follow-up throughout the sales process to move opportunities forward.
- Respond to customer questions and concerns with professionalism, accuracy, and a solutions-focused approach.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, opportunities, and follow-up within the agency’s CRM system.
- Consistently work toward individual activity, quote, premium, and policy production goals.
- Participate in agency meetings, product training, coaching sessions, sales development activities, and role-playing exercises.
- Build new business by generating referrals, developing relationships, and actively pursuing new sales opportunities.
- Stay current on insurance products, coverage options, underwriting guidelines, discounts, and agency procedures.
- Represent the agency with professionalism and provide a positive, knowledgeable, and customer-focused experience at every interaction.
- An active California Property & Casualty insurance license is preferred.
- Candidates who are not currently licensed must be willing and able to obtain a California Property & Casualty license within 30 days of employment.
- Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)
- Previous experience in insurance, sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, telemarketing, or another customer-facing environment is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Comfortable interacting with customers through phone calls, text messages, email, and in-person conversations.
- Ability to quickly establish rapport, build trust, and create positive customer relationships.
- Strong listening, presentation, problem-solving, persuasion, and negotiation skills.

- Comfortable addressing customer questions and objections while confidently asking for the sale.
