Century Group has partnered with a client who is currently seeking an experienced full-time, salaried Accountant for their growing company. This is not your typical CPA firm, it is an anti burnout, we care about our people, and give you quality of life spot. They want a self-starter who is able to work remotely from their home office. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently and managing their own time. They should also have a passion for working with non-profits and fit within the company culture.

Location: 100% remote, located within the US

Salary: $60,000-$75,000 (Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.)

Job Description:

• Prepare A-Z accounting and bookkeeping for Non-profit clients
• Strong comfort with Quick Books Online
• Account reconciliations
• Financial statements preparation
• Audit and resolve errors in financial reports
• Maintain annual and quarterly budgets
• Track key financial metrics and run reports as needed
• Payroll, payroll taxes
• Understand the details of grant accounting
• Support a variety of clients

Requirements:

• Experience in non-profit accounting preferred within a CPA firm environment
• Experience working at a company with multiple clients
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
• Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Able to adapt to changing priorities
• Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
• Detail-oriented
• A team player
• Strong work ethic

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
