Responsibilities
- Responsible for the supervision of operational accounting, including month end close processes, internal reporting, financial analysis, billing, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure that the system of internal controls is followed to support the Manager of Operational Accounting position.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Accounting or a related discipline.
- A minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience.
- Proven track record of hiring, evaluating and development of accounting professionals and clerical help.
- Must have a fundamental understanding of accounting and financial principles.
- General understanding and demonstrated ability with computerized accounting systems, financial modeling, budgets, operations analysis, and management reporting.
- Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).
