Business Office Manager – Large Senior Living Community
We are seeking a Business Office Manager to join our team at our large premier senior living community in Lakewood CO. Come join a team of dedicated, smart, and caring professionals as they work together to care for our residents and provide them the lifestyle they deserve. As the Business Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects of the facility's operations, including billing and collections, accounts payable, and payroll.

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the business office, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Prepare and present financial reports to facility management and corporate office
- Manage the payroll process, including timekeeping, payroll processing, and payroll tax compliance
- Monitor and maintain accurate census data to ensure proper billing and reimbursement
- Manage the facility's petty cash and cash receipts processes
- Provide support and guidance to the facility's management team on financial matters
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in healthcare finance, preferably in a skilled nursing facility
- Strong knowledge of healthcare billing and reimbursement processes
- Experience with electronic medical records and billing systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
