Mechanical Construction Administrator

Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Administrator with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction trades. This is a career opportunity for someone with prior experience in mechanical engineering, construction, facility maintenance, or service technician work within the mechanical/plumbing construction industry. References supporting past experience will be required.

• Hybrid: 2 days remote, half-day Fridays
• Monday–Thursday full days

• Conduct construction jobsite observations for mechanical and plumbing systems installation (requires walking, climbing, crouching, etc.) to verify compliance with construction documents and standards.
• Generate observation reports documenting field verification of construction documents and code requirements.
• Review contractor submittals and shop drawings.
• Collaborate with Principals, Project Managers, and Senior Engineers.
• Assist Engineers on project constructability items.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills relevant to the construction industry.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, etc.); knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, appropriate driving record, and automobile insurance.
• Engineering background preferred but not required.
