Adjunct​/Affiliate Faculty- Dance History and Dance- College of Undergraduate Studies

Job Summary

An Affiliate Faculty in Dance History and Dance in the College of Undergraduate Studies School of Music has primary responsibilities for teaching Dance History courses on a course‑by‑course basis as needed and in collaboration with the faculty of the School of Music.

• Master’s degree in dance or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Experience teaching dance or dance history at the secondary level.
• Passion for CCU’s Strategic Priorities and for Christian higher education.

• Contribute to CCU’s mission of Christ‑centered higher education, enhancing and advancing exemplary academics, spiritual growth, and engagement with the world.
• Teach courses within the CUS School of Music.
• Provide effective servant leadership among faculty, staff, students, and administrators.

While performing the duties of this job you may be required to sit, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, speak with clarity, and have appropriate vision and hearing capabilities. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Affiliate faculty pay is normally $1,100 per credit hour, though the university may adjust payment based on enrollment and program type, including pro‑rated or flat rates.
