Wayne Carle is a comprehensive 6-8 middle school serving over 600 students. We are proud to create a learning environment that ensures academic success through high expectations, positive reinforcement, and addressing individual student needs.

All teachers at Wayne Carle work in professional learning communities to create a culture of collaboration, focus on results for student learning, and grow in our teaching craft. We offer a diverse selection of elective courses, allowing students to explore their strengths, passions, and possible career pathways. Students have the opportunity to engage in three electives each day in addition to their core content classes.

In addition, our center-based program supporting students with severe special needs is an integral part of our school community.

At Wayne Carle we believe in fostering the development of the whole child. In addition to rigorous academic learning, we embrace restorative and social-emotional learning practices school-wide. We also engage students in our WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) program to develop student leaders, support the middle school transition process, and prevent bullying.

Our partnership with the Westminster Sports and Recreation program allows us to offer after-school sports and clubs to further meet the needs of our students. Our Wayne Carle community is passionate about creating a positive, caring environment to connect with and grow our student learners.
