About the Job

Affiliate Faculty in Psychology in the College of Undergraduate Studies (CUS), Department of Psychology. Primary responsibilities include teaching in‑seat courses on an as‑needed basis and collaborating with faculty of the Department of Psychology.

We're looking for candidates who have

A Master’s degree (M.A./M.S.) in Psychology or a related field from an accredited college/university.

Experience teaching courses in psychology at the college level.

A passion for CCU's Strategic Priorities and for Christian higher education.

Job Duties

Contribute to CCU’s mission:
Christ‑centered higher education transforming students to impact the world with grace and truth. Affiliate faculty contribute by enhancing exemplary academics, spiritual growth, and engagement.

Teach in‑seat Psychology classes during the fall and/or spring semesters.

Position is on an as‑needed basis with no guarantee of employment.

In collaboration with faculty, advise and mentor Psychology students as deemed necessary by the CUS Dean.

Provide strategic thinking in fulfilling the goals of the CUS Department of Psychology, supporting University Strategic Objectives.

Provide effective servant leadership among faculty, staff, students, and administrators.

Nature of Work Environment

While performing the duties, may be required to walk, stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, speak with clarity, and have appropriate vision and hearing capabilities. Must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Pay

Affiliate faculty pay is normally $1,000 per credit hour. The University will determine course delivery based on enrollment; pay may be per student or a flat or pro‑rated basis depending on program and enrollment.
