Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education settings and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles.
** Our Pay scale is based on current PDIS Level qualifications. (Each level is a different pay rate). $22-$25.
Open: 7am-5:30pm
Responsibilities- Serve as a Christ-centered role model, demonstrating compassion, integrity, and a deep love for Jesus in all interactions.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards, focusing on physical education, math, and other foundational skills.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to share insights about children’s development and progress.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Previous experience in daycare or early childhood education settings is required.
- ECE Lead Qualified – this means you must hold a Level 2 PDIS credential.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education or a similar setting.
- Experience in curriculum development and classroom management is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of toddler care practices and early intervention strategies is an asset.
- A degree or formal certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field is highly desirable.
- Must pass all required background checks prior to employment.
- Ability to teach biblical concepts and principles to young children
