PRE-EMPLOYMENTREQUIREMENT
The successful new hire or rehired candidate will be responsible to complete and incur the fingerprinting and processing fee of $57.50 through an appropriate fingerprinting vendor and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, within 48 hours of offer acceptance.
RESPONSIBILITIESSUMMARY:
Responsibilities of this position include being the initial contact to parents into special education programs or testing offered by the District. Accurately enter intake data elements into systems. Act as a resource for District teachers and staff by answering questions pertaining to special education programs. Ensure that all job duties are completed while maintaining a high customer service standard so that parents, administrators, and employees have their needs met in an efficient, friendly manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide customer service support as the initial point of contact for parents into the District and special education program. Manage high volume of telephone and email communications.
Complete student data entry into District systems on intake and enrollments for programs. Coordinate program testing schedules and materials associated with testing. Manage filing systems, including student confidential files. Gather, create, and organize materials as necessary. Format and create templates for organizing program materials.
Support District and school-based staff with program related issues and questions.
Provide effective public relations and oral/written communications when interacting with the public, District employees, and agencies.
Provide support with data systems, such as extracting data and researching problems for State reporting.
Provide technician support to other Special Education departments and serve as back up as directed.
Provide clerical support to administrator and program staff.
Process mail pickup/deliveries; operate and troubleshoot copier machines, faxes, and printers.
Maintain e-mail and voice mail distribution lists for specific work group.
Perform other duties as assigned.
