Under the guidance of the District Area Nurse and school administration, you will manage the health room and provide critical care for a diverse student population, including those within the Significant Support Needs (SSN) program
. This role requires the ability to perform essential personal care duties such as feeding, lifting, diapering, and bathroom assistance with a high degree of professional judgment.

You will maintain daily coordination with school nursing and administrative staff to manage complex health concerns, ensuring that strict confidentiality is upheld in all student interactions and records. The position involves frequent exposure to bodily fluids and requires a steadfast commitment to safety protocols while managing student behavior in a medical setting.

Success in this role depends on your ability to master medical technology, maintain precise documentation, and adapt to the evolving healthcare needs of students with varied medical conditions. Candidates must be prepared for a physically active environment where technical skill and empathetic, reliable care are equally prioritized.
