Overview

Responsibilities- Coordinate planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects within assigned responsibility.
- Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
- Evaluate and approve design changes, specification and drawing releases, and coordinate activities concerning technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
- Implement and manage Configuration and Data Management (CDM) processes, procedures, and tools supporting the FBM program, including life‑cycle activities.
- Lead multiple IPTs to develop unified solutions that meet system performance, cost, and schedule requirements.
- Analyze proposed changes to product design to determine effects on overall product and system; coordinate modification records for management control.
- Establish change orders and prepare change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor; review engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support manufacturing, and other relevant groups.
- Ensure customer requirements are implemented and approvals captured in compliance with configuration management policies.
- Capture and release classified documentation and models in accordance with the DOD Contract; support team members with markings, formatting, and handling of documentation.
- Coordinate and implement CDM requirements, policies, and practices related to configuration identification (baseline documentation, hardware, and software) per business and contract requirements.
- Process release of documentation, CDRLs/SDRLs per Contract SOW, Subcontract SOWs, 1423s, and DD250s.
- Capture Electronic Data Files in classified and unclassified areas; handle classified documents.
- Management and integration of CDM program requirements.
- Understanding of Production and Development programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Configuration Management hardware/design work.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting contracts.
- Experience with CDRLs and SOWs, as well as Sub‑Contractor SDRLs and SOWs.
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Knowledge of EIA‑649 National Consensus Standard for Configuration Data Management.
- Experience handling classified data in a classified environment.
- Experience with design and product data management tools such as EPDM or comparable systems.
- Proficiency with SharePoint, Live Link, or other collaborative tools.
- Experience with electronic data vaulting and digital data handling using ePDM.
- Rapid learning of new tools and processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with drawing and/or CAD to facilitate reviews.
- Government or Military customer experience and understanding of DoD contracts.
This position requires a Top Secret security clearance and the applicant must be a U.S. citizen.

Salary Range$70,100 – $123,625 (annual base) for eligible locations in California, Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, and Washington DC.
