Overview

We are partnering with a well-established engineering consulting firm seeking an experienced Structural Practice Leader to drive the growth of its structural engineering services. This is a high-impact leadership role offering autonomy, strategic influence, and the opportunity to build and lead a thriving practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the expansion of structural engineering services across infrastructure, heavy civil, and building projects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams
  • Oversee structural design, calculations, and project deliverables, ensuring high-quality standards
  • Conduct site assessments, structural evaluations, and technical reporting
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project discussions
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and client engagement
Leadership Focus
  • Set strategic direction and business goals for the structural practice
  • Drive business planning, growth initiatives, and operational excellence
  • Mentor, manage, and develop engineering teams
  • Ensure projects are delivered profitably and efficiently
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of structural engineering experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
  • Strong background in structural design across a variety of project types
  • Proficiency in design and modeling tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, structural analysis software)
  • Experience managing projects, budgets, and client relationships
  • Proven leadership and team development experience
  • Ability to develop proposals, scopes of work, and project budgets
