  • Performengineeringanalysesrelatedtospacecraftcommunicationsperformance,includinglinkbudget,coverage,RF compatibility,andrelatedcommunicationsanalyses
  • Conductnetworkloading,capacity,andutilizationassessmentssupportingmissionplanningandoperationaldecision-making
  • Developtechnicalreports,presentation materials,memoranda,andengineeringproductssummarizinganalyses,recommendations,and findings
  • AssessmissioncommunicationssupportabilityacrossNASASCa Nandcommercialcommunicationsarchitectures
  • Identifytechnicalconstraints,operational risks,andrecommendedmitigationapproaches
  • Develop,maintain,andimproveengineeringanalysistools,models,datasets,andanalyticalmethods
  • Maintaintechnicaldata,assumptions,andanalyticalproductsusingconfigurationmanagementpractices
  • Supportreadinessreviews,technicalinterchangemeetings,status reporting,andactionitemresolution
  • Supportspectrumplanningandcoordinationactivitiesrelatedtocommunicationssystemcompatibilityandspectrumsharing
  • Collaborateacrossengineeringdisciplinestoresolvemissionintegrationissuesandsupportsuccessfulmissionexecution
What You Need
  • Bachelor’sdegreein

    Electrical

    Engineering,Aerospace Engineering,Physics,Systems Engineering,Computer Engineering,orarelatedtechnicaldiscipline
  • 0 to 4 years of relevant professional experience in spacecraft communications, mission analysis, systems engineering, RF engineering, aerospace systems, software development, or related technical disciplines
  • Experience performing technical analysis and developing engineering products that support mission or operational decision-making
  • Abilitytomanagemultipletechnicalassignmentsandcoordinateacrossorganizationsinafast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical,problem-solving,andorganizationalskills
  • Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills
  • U.S.Citizenshipor Permanent Residentstatusisrequired
  • Graduateresearchoradvanceddegreesmaybeconsideredtowardaportionoftheexperiencerequirementwhereapplicable

  • Abilitytoindependentlyexecutetechnicaltaskswhilecollaboratingeffectivelyacrossmultidisciplinaryteams
  • Experiencesupportingtechnicalreviews,readiness assessments,ormissionplanningactivities
  • Familiaritywithspectrumplanning,frequency coordination,orcommunicationscompatibilityanalysis
