Job Description

Muller Engineering is seeking qualified candidates at the Intern level to join our growing team. This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is eager to gain hands‑on experience in the civil engineering industry while contributing to a variety of projects throughout Colorado.

We are looking for candidates who enjoy working in a creative, collaborative environment and are excited to learn alongside experienced engineers while developing their technical and professional skills.

• Assist engineers with the preparation of studies, reports, plans, quantities, and other project deliverables for a variety of civil engineering projects.
• Support engineers with the design and development of project components.
• Provide project meeting support, including preparing agendas, taking meeting notes, tracking action items, and assisting with follow‑up activities.
• Perform general day‑to‑day project tasks as needed, including CAD work, field observations, and other technical support.
• Gain hands‑on experience with Micro Station/Open Roads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other software commonly used within the transportation engineering field.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams across a variety of assignments and project phases.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Currently enrolled in a civil engineering program at an ABET‑accredited college or university.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented, with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• A desire to grow personally and professionally through each project while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Interest in developing designs and solutions that support clients’ overall project goals.
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office products is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $21–$24 per hour, depending on experience and anticipated graduation date.
