JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary
Purpose:
To plan, direct and coordinate the financial activities of the organization at the highest level of management. Determine the Company's financial strategy and policy responsible for corporate liquidity, leverage, investments, real estate, and risk management. Work closely with the Company's investor relations function. Expected to play a significant company-level Executive leadership role relative to developing the Company's fundamental business strategy.
Minimum requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
Experience/Specific Knowledge:
- Fifteen (15) or more years of progressive experience with a proven record of accomplishment in the area of Finance within the Oil & Gas Industry.
- Demonstrated superior leadership outcomes in the areas of leading self, leading others, and leading an organization.
- Proven ability to drive positive change with continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated success in managing large departmental budgets.
- Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the Company and its insurers (for travel).
Competencies, Skills & Abilities:
- Capital markets and financial risk management experience.
- Ability to work independently and with little supervision.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to varied and changing responsibilities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Proven ability to identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities.
- Must be able to perform all essential and marginal functions of the job.
- Must be able to work with a team, take direction from management, adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.
- Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
- Ability to organize and prioritize daily work.
- Job level commensurate with experience and skill sets; position will be filled depending on qualifications, experience and skill sets of the successful candidate.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Above the minimum requirements, not required but advantageous in this position:
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Compensation:
- The annual salary range for this position will be $250,000-$325,000/yr.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinate and direct the financial planning, budgeting, and investment activities for the organization.
- Maintain and develop banking relationships with syndication of approximately 25 banks
- Ensure compliance with and optimize the Company's various credit facilities
- Advise other members of the Executive Management team on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions.
- Analyze the financial details of past, present, and expected operations in order to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed.
- Delegate authority for receipt, disbursement, banking, protection and custody of funds, securities, and financial instruments.
