Vaco has partnered with a private equity-backed software company that is in search of an Interim Controller to support a high-impact transition period. This role will play a critical part in stabilizing the finance function, ensuring operational continuity, and preparing for the upcoming annual audit.
Job Title:
Interim Controller
Location:
Denver, CO (near Lakewood area)
Pay Rate: $75 - $100 per hour
Project Duration: 3+ months
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the monthly close process with accuracy and timeliness
- Oversee preparation for the annual audit and coordinate with external auditors
- Support ongoing ERP transition
- Provide stability and process improvement insights
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- PE-backed SaaS company experience required
- Proven experience as a Controller or senior accounting leader
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to start immediately and be onsite in the Denver area
