Our Summer Internship Program

Our Summer Internship Program (PLOT) offers an opportunity to gain meaningful experience in Finance while building the foundation for a successful career. During this 12-week program, you'll learn from experienced finance professionals, tackle real-world projects, and develop working knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business decision support within a leading agribusiness organization. You'll have the opportunity to present your internship learnings directly to leadership.

This is more than just an internship. It's your chance to make a real impact, build professional knowledge, and sharpen your abilities in a dynamic, results-driven environment. Successful completion of the PLOT program can also earn you a scholarship between $1,000 and $3,000.

As a Wilbur-Ellis Finance Intern, you'll gain experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, reporting, and business performance management. You'll work alongside finance professionals to support projects that help drive informed business decisions and contribute to the financial success of the organization.

Responsibilities may include analyzing financial and operational data, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, assisting with financial reporting, identifying trends and business insights, developing data visualizations and presentations, conducting research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and process improvements.

As an intern, we understand you may not already have extensive professional experience. We are seeking a college student pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Agricultural Business, or a related field with an interest in finance and business strategy. Overall, we are looking for someone with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy;

the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools; intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn; a self-starter who is eager to contribute ideas and collaborate with others; and someone who brings their full self to work each day.

• Exposure to corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, and business decision support within a leading agribusiness organization
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business analysis activities

In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $17.00 to $24.00 per hour. Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
