Compensation: $79,000.00/year
Join us as a Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow at Soar Autism Center! Soar is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics providing life-shaping services for children with autism and their families. We focus on early intervention, comprehensive support, and positive, developmentally-appropriate learning tailored to each child and family. Our model is specifically designed for young children with autism.
What You'll Do:- Serve as an on-site Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow, planning and implementing naturalistic speech therapy for children aged 1-5 in a center-based setting.
- Gain hands-on experience under the mentorship of seasoned SLPs.
- Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialties (BCBAs, OTs, psychologists).
- Develop communication interventions, including AAC devices, to support client communication.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including BCBAs, RBTs, occupational therapists, and mental health professionals to plan and execute effective programs, including co-treatments.
- Monitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate changes to team members and families.
- Partner with families to develop goals, communicate progress, and provide coaching and support throughout their journey.
- Desire to contribute to advancing autism therapy standards.
- Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
- License to practice speech pathology in Colorado.
- Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams.
- Ability to connect and engage with young children, embodying a playful spirit.
- Provisional Colorado license required by start date.
- Mentorship from experienced SLPs during your clinical fellowship.
