Job Description

Join us as a Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow at Soar Autism Center! Soar is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics providing life-shaping services for children with autism and their families. We focus on early intervention, comprehensive support, and positive, developmentally-appropriate learning tailored to each child and family. Our model is specifically designed for young children with autism.

What You'll Do:
  • Serve as an on-site Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow, planning and implementing naturalistic speech therapy for children aged 1-5 in a center-based setting.
  • Gain hands-on experience under the mentorship of seasoned SLPs.
  • Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialties (BCBAs, OTs, psychologists).
  • Develop communication interventions, including AAC devices, to support client communication.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including BCBAs, RBTs, occupational therapists, and mental health professionals to plan and execute effective programs, including co-treatments.
  • Monitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate changes to team members and families.
  • Partner with families to develop goals, communicate progress, and provide coaching and support throughout their journey.
Qualifications
  • Desire to contribute to advancing autism therapy standards.
  • Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
  • License to practice speech pathology in Colorado.
  • Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams.
  • Ability to connect and engage with young children, embodying a playful spirit.
  • Provisional Colorado license required by start date.
