Nutrition for Littles is seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable Registered Dietitian to join our team as a Registered Dietitian – Picky Eating Coach
. This part‑time, contract role is ideal for a dietitian who loves working directly with parents of young children and wants to support families in a practical, relationship‑driven way.
You’ll coach parents through the challenges of picky eating using a child‑centered, root‑cause‑focused approach that prioritizes emotional safety, trust, and long‑term progress over quick fixes. You’ll provide one‑on‑one virtual coaching, actively support parents inside our community, and host educational workshops on picky eating‑related topics
, helping families gain clarity, confidence, and momentum around mealtimes.
This position blends individualized coaching with group education and community connection. It’s a great fit for a dietitian who enjoys teaching, facilitating conversations, and empowering parents with realistic strategies they can actually use in daily life.

Key Responsibilities- Provide one‑on‑one virtual coaching sessions (via Zoom or Google Meet) for parents of picky eaters, offering both short consultations and longer, deeper support sessions.
- Engage consistently in our private Facebook community by answering advanced questions with expertise, warmth, and empathy.
- Maintain 2–3 days per week of open availability so parents can easily book sessions during your scheduled hours.
- Lead and teach group calls and educational workshops periodically.
- Use thoughtful, child‑centered, root‑cause‑focused guidance that aligns with the Nutrition for Littles philosophy.
- A registered dietitian with a strong background in child nutrition.
- Someone who leads with empathy and can create a supportive, judgment‑free experience for parents.
- Someone who understands the realities of feeding young children; parents of toddlers are encouraged to apply, but this is not a requirement
. - Experience in feeding therapy clinic is a plus, but not required.
- Comfortable engaging in community spaces and supporting parents in a conversational, compassionate way.
- Slack, Gmail, Notion, Zoom, Google Meet, and Facebook Groups.
These are not prerequisites—just part of our workflow.
CompensationHourly range: $20–$35 per hour
This is a part‑time, contract (1099) role
.
No traditional employment benefits are offered for contractor positions.
