SCHEDULE:

Mon-Thurs 7:30a-4:30p SALARY RANGE: $58,750-$64,625 per year BENEFITS & PERKS:

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Manager at Developmental Disabilities Resource Center, you will supervise a dedicated team working directly with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Your role is pivotal in collaborating with other Managers and leaders to embrace and facilitate continuous change, identifying innovative approaches to enhance our business practices. Upholding the mission, vision, and values of DDRC is essential as you engage both employees and participants in our day programs.

Your creativity and focus on person-centered practices will guide you in developing impactful programs that truly meet the needs of those we serve. Additionally, your commitment to ongoing professional growth and learning will bolster your passion for helping others achieve their goals and dreams. As a proven self-starter and problem-solver with exceptional organizational skills, you will play a key role in driving quality assurance and enhancing the overall experience for individuals with developmental disabilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Prioritizes and performs multiple tasks and meets deadlines.
  • Ability and willingness to use approved physical and non-physical behavioral intervention techniques as appropriate.
  • Will be required to work varied hours and change priorities as needed.
  • Operates within policies and procedures set by Developmental Disabilities Resource Center policy, rules and regulations of the State and other governing bodies.
  • Respects and supports all confidentiality/HIPAA requirements.
  • Supervises direct care staff.
  • May provide transportation as needed either through use of own or agency vehicle.
  • Monitors the day to day operations of designated program.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
  • BA/BS in related field or combination of experience and education.
  • 2 years or paid or volunteer experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
  • 1 year staff supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of program planning and development.
  • Must have ability to work effectively as a team member.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Physically transfers, repositions and otherwise physically assists people with developmental disabilities as needed to meet health and safety needs.
  • Physical stamina to assist individuals safely, including the ability to stand, pivot, and transfer.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Ability to push, pull, and position wheelchairs and other adaptive equipment.
  • Manual dexterity for personal care and adaptive equipment support.
