Job Description- Assists anesthesia providers with patient assessment, monitoring, transporting, positioning, insertion of intravenous and other invasive lines, and airway management.
- Maintains and troubleshoots anesthesia equipment malfunctions. Ensures necessary equipment and supply inventory remain in stock.
- Provides routine and emergency services for anesthesiologists. Assists with schedule preparations, including emergent and urgent surgical procedures involving anesthesia.
- Assists anesthesia professional staff with preparation and draping of patients for invasive monitoring/procedures and anticipates needs for invasive monitor insertion and procedures.
- Sets up operating room for cases, including preparation of laryngoscope, intubation equipment, IV solution, tubing set‑up, and IV warming devices.
- Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals [Required]
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required]
- Knowledge and basic skills related to aseptic/ sterile technique and sterility of supplies [Required]
- Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
- High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]
- Associate [Preferred]
- Technical/Vocational School [Preferred]
- Completion of an Anesthesia Technology training program [Required]
- 1+ experience as an anesthesia tech [Preferred]
- Completion of an Anesthesia Technology training program OR
- 1+ year experience as an anesthesia tech
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Anesthesia Technician (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). OR
- Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer. A.T.T.) [Preferred]

Pay Range$19.58 - $31.32
