We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a vital role in ensuring smooth overnight operations, maintaining guest satisfaction, and accurately reconciling financial transactions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in hospitality management and guest services to contribute to a high-quality guest experience in a dynamic hotel or resort environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency in hotel management systems, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service during overnight hours.
- Conduct nightly audits of hotel accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Reconcile daily revenue, expenses, and other financial transactions using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
- Prepare and distribute reports for management review
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy, providing excellent guest relations
- Assist with front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations during overnight hours
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring the premises and ensuring guest safety throughout the night shift
- Perform administrative tasks such as phone etiquette, data entry, and updating guest records
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any overnight issues or special requests
- Uphold hospitality standards by delivering exceptional guest services in a multilingual or bilingual capacity if applicable
- Previous experience in hotel management, front desk operations, or night audit roles preferred
- Strong knowledge of hospitality management systems and guest services procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs effectively
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to enhance guest communication
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette essential
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Hospitality or hotel experience is highly desirable but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates committed to learning the role
