Link Technologies (), a Las Vegas, NV based IT consulting firm, is seeking a Scrum Master/Project Manager for a 12 month contract with a well-established client in Lakewood, CO.
Position DescriptionMy client is seeking a full time Scrum Master/Project Manager to:
- Execute and facilitate scrum process for the Enterprise Application Architecture (EAA) team
- Execute and facilitate the project management process for the EAA team; examples include the Identity Management Tool and Automated Testing tool
- Execute high level analysis and documentation for Jeffco’s custom integration platform
- Perform light software testing
- Organizing and facilitating the Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective meetings
- Ensuring the sprint task board is up to date
- Responding to and coordinating resolution of team member impediments
- Facilitating with other technology teams on cross-facilitation of dependent work
- Working with product owners to ensure the maintenance of the Product Backlog
- Working with product owners to ensure backlog aligns with project deliverables
- Working with EAA Management and Project Sponsors to define EAA led projects
- Ensuring EAA projects are delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality standard (within agreed specifications)
- Managing and leading the project team
- Managing coordination of the partners and working groups engaged in project work
- Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary; coordination with Product Owners could be necessary
- Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan; coordination with Product Owners could be necessary
- Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan
- Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary
- Resolving cross-functional issues at project level
- Monitoring project progress and performance
- Providing status reports to the project sponsor
- Managing project evaluation activities
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, mathematical, statistical, or financial discipline required
- Mid-Senior Project Manager with experience managing technical projects
This position requires the candidate to be onsite; no remote work or telecommuting. Candidate must be available to start as soon as August 2015.
