Job Summary
Temporary Aide position up to 9 months, 40 hours per week, hourly rate $25.00. Applies to residents and non‑residents of Colorado. An eligible list may be used for similar positions within CDPS in the next 12 months.
About the Work UnitThe Office of Operations & Administration (OOA) manages administration of the Division, coordinating policies, training, finances, personnel, grant programs, and agency collaboration.
About the JobProvide support in archiving grant data from the legacy Grants Management System (GMS), test the new GMS, and create testing guidelines and instructional job aids for staff and external partners.
Work Environment- Temporary position not to exceed 9 months.
- Position scheduled 40 hours per week.
- Hybrid with a minimum of two days per week in the Lakewood office.
- Core business hours Monday‑Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with some flexibility.
- Compile and sort information according to priorities.
- Troubleshoot customer requests.
- Apply data program techniques and procedures.
- Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
- Keep information confidential.
- Comply with data integrity and security policies.
- Ensure proper use of office equipment and address malfunctions.
- Export and save information from existing systems to a Google folder.
- Help customers with technical issues related to grants management software.
- Diagnose problems, analyze customer issues, and guide customers through steps to resolve them.
- Communicate with customers via support calls, emails, chats, or other messages.
- Train users on software in person or through tutorials, videos, manuals, or digital pages.
- Maintain systems by testing components, monitoring, and performing performance tuning.
- Analyze specifications, review and analyze software's specifications before tests.
- Develop tests by collaborating with end users to create test plans.
- Execute tests: exploratory, functional, regression.
- Document bugs, glitches, and other flaws.
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve them.
- Prepare reports detailing software effectiveness and needed adjustments.
- Four (4) years of relevant experience in database administration including configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and end‑user training and support.
- Education may substitute for required experience on a year‑for‑year basis; transcripts must be attached at application time.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Customer service or stakeholder engagement experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical education or experience in software support, training, or remote helpdesk support.
- Discretion and good judgment.
- Knowledge and experience with grants management.
- Ability to manage and track deadlines.
- Experience with FLUXX Grants Management System (GMS) or other database CRM experience.
- Coding ability.
- Requires successful completion of background investigation including polygraph exam, fingerprint‑based criminal history search, and reference checking.
