UX Designer – TS​/SCI

Responsibilities

• Responsible for setting the strategic design for web-based applications
• Build a diverse range of user experiences and interfaces for client-funded projects
• Collaborate with software development teams on product roadmaps
• Establish and implement research methodologies that drive design decisions
• Support engineers in implementing designs
• Meet regularly with clients to develop user empathy and collect requirements
• Facilitate design critiques and participate in product meetings

• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active/current TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, e.g. UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Industrial Design
• 2+ years of UX/UI experience
• Must present a strong (and preferably diverse) design portfolio
• Knowledge and applied use of Design Thinking principles
• Recent experience with Figma/Fig Jam as well as some of the following technologies:
  Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, InVision, Procreate
• Experience with Human-Centered Design approaches is a plus
• Web-based product design experience is a plus
• Experience with Graphic Design/Identity/Logo/Branding is a plus
• Experience mentoring junior staff or interns is a plus
• 5 years experience is a plus
