Core Responsibilities- Handle incoming network security policy requests not limited to network firewall, micro‑segmentation, proxy, and web application firewall.
- Be available (on‑call) to handle break‑fix scenarios.
- Participate in stand‑up efforts and projects that require more involvement than a typical request engagement.
- Networking knowledge (subnets, terminologies, routers, switches, VLANs, VRFs, routing)
- Troubleshooting (following the packet)
- Network security; firewalls such as Fortinet; micro‑segmentation; proxy (basic understanding/function)
- VPN tunnels; least privilege enforcement
- Scripting knowledge (Python is a plus)
- Server architecture knowledge (web/app/db and communication layouts)
- Understanding enterprise supporting infrastructure such as load balancers, DNS, BGP, provisioning and orchestration
- Containers/Kubernetes, databases, user connectivity, remote access connectivity, load testing, web application firewall
- Policy and procedure experience: drafting/revising policy, enforcement, reviewing policy exceptions as part of GRC functionality, revising procedures and processes for improvement.
- Vulnerability management and remediation
- Customer Focused – Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
- Managing Risk – Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Pay TransparencyBase Salary: $91,000.00 – $. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
