Distinguished Engineer – Security Architecture

• Define and deliver technical objectives, timelines, and architectures for AI-assisted security capabilities
• Conduct build-vs-buy analyses, lead vendor evaluations, and define replacement criteria
• Partner with the CISO organization, engineering, and operations teams
• Design and document enterprise security architectures
• Code, script, and validate software proofs-of-concept

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
• Eight or more years of relevant experience required
• Hands-on experience designing and securing massive-scale network architectures
• Documented experience authoring and delivering at least 3 enterprise-scale security roadmaps
• Experience designing or securing AI/ML systems and applying AI governance frameworks
• Active software development or advanced scripting experience (Python, Go, or equivalent)
• Master's degree in a related STEM field (even better if you have)
• Active top-tier industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, SANS GIAC/GSE)
• Proven track record implementing 5G security standards
• Deep technical experience with UNIX/Linux, Red Hat Open Stack/Open Shift
• Experience building automated baseline deployments aligned with CIS benchmarks and DISA STIGs
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple high-visibility, complex technical projects

Demonstrates expertise in designing and securing enterprise-scale security architectures, with a focus on AI/ML systems and 5G security standards. Proven ability to manage complex technical projects and deliver security roadmaps aligned with industry benchmarks.
