Koniag Operations Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Janitor to support KOS and our government customer in Denver Federal Center Lakewood, CO. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. This is a union position currently paying $20.25 an hr. All benefits are through the CBA.

Our custodial staff is responsible for keeping an office building clean and orderly. Job duties may include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning of entrances, lobbies, corridors, offices, conference rooms, work areas, floor surfaces, restrooms, locker rooms, shower stalls, water fountains, utility sinks, etc.
• Maintain the appearance of exterior grounds, parking lots, loading docks, and sidewalks
• Emptying wastebaskets and trash receptacles
• Dusting of high and low surfaces, including overhead lights and pictures, and using cleaning products to clean or polish soiled surfaces
• Vacuuming carpets and light spot removal duties
• Washing windows and glass cleaning
• Performing heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, and washing walls

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED required
• 0-2 years' experience preferred
• Work well with cooperative and motivated cleaning staff
• Follow detailed cleaning instructions and learn troubleshooting skills
• Capable of heavy cleaning duties
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team to achieve goals
• Availability for occasional weekend work
• Full-time night shift available
• Part-time night shifts available
• Dependable, hardworking, conscientious, and cooperative
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
