Position: Wire Harness Assembler (Aerospace)

Hiring:
Wire Harness Cable Assemblers – Centennial, CO

Location: Centennial, CO

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $24–$35 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wire Harness Assembler to join a high‑performing aerospace manufacturing team. In this hands‑on role, you will assemble complex wire harnesses and electrical components that support advanced aircraft and aerospace systems. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude, precision, and the ability to interpret technical documentation in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and follow engineering drawings, wire lists, schematics, and work instructions to assemble wire harnesses to exact specifications.
  • Select, cut, strip, and prepare wires based on gauge, color, length, and identification requirements.
  • Route, bundle, and secure wiring using lacing, cable ties, clamps, and other hardware to ensure durability and organization.
  • Perform soldering and crimping operations using hand tools, soldering irons, and pneumatic crimping equipment.
  • Apply heat shrink tubing, sealants, and protective sleeving to provide mechanical and environmental protection.
  • Conduct electrical testing, including continuity and insulation resistance checks, using multimeters and automated test equipment.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards and customer requirements.
  • Accurately document work performed, test results, and any nonconformances; communicate issues to Quality Assurance as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while meeting production schedules.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and support continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in wire harness assembly or electrical component manufacturing.
  • Proven soldering experience (required).
  • Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Working knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 soldering standards.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in electrical assembly.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications in electronics or manufacturing are a plus.

This is a fully onsite position in Centennial, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
