As a registered nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for:
- Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
- Promoting the optimal health, well‑being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrating personal accountability for relationship‑based care, organizational mission, and core values.
In addition to bringing human kindness to the workplace each day, qualified nursing candidates will need the following:
Education Requirements- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
Nursing Diploma or by endorsement. - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs.
- One year experience preferred.
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty.
- RN License required; current state nursing licenses or a valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
- Medium work – exert up to 50 lb force occasionally, up to 20 lb frequently, or up to 10 lb constantly.
Ortho Colorado Hospital is Colorado’s only orthopedic specialty hospital and is designed specifically for the orthopedic patient. Our state‑of‑the‑art facility features a 48‑bed inpatient unit, including six intermediate‑care beds and eight operating rooms. All team members from pre‑operative care through recovery and our in‑patient nurses are specialty trained in orthopedics, allowing us to provide an unprecedented level of care and achieve the best outcomes and experiences for our patients.

$33.15 – $59.67 per hour
