Onsite Requirement

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.

Minimum Requirements

Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years of experience. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). 6 months of nursing (RN) experience. PALS and NIHSS within 6 months of hire. TNCC or ATCN within 6 months of hire.

  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale

BLS – BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities
  • Provide top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
  • Valuate a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
  • Model proficiency through precepting new staff members.
  • Welcome new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
  • Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
Emergency Department Responsibilities
  • Direct care includes Emergency Department level of care up to and including level 1 trauma designation.
  • Implement BCEN’s certification standards as part of evidence-based care models.
  • Participate in Clinical Educator-supported individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout clinical orientation.
