RN Pre Op/PACU

Colorado Urologic Surgery Center - St. Anthony's is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Pre Op/PACU department.

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, continuously evaluating patient condition, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation and sterile technique as appropriate.
• Deliver comprehensive care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; conduct assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and coordinate discharge preparation for patients and families.

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS if required by the center.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

$34.00–$53.00 per hour (based on experience).
