Preop Pacu Procedural Registered Nurse

Position

RN Pre Op/PACU – Colorado Urologic Surgery Center, St. Anthony's.

Provide continuous, high‑quality nursing care for patients before surgery and in the post‑anesthesia care unit. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, assist physicians with sedation, and prepare patients for discharge.

• Coordinate pre‑operative evaluation and prepare patients for surgery.
• Assist physicians in the procedure rooms, including conscious sedation and sterile technique.
• Provide comprehensive care to patients emerging from anesthesia, including assessment, monitoring, and early discharge planning.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy.

• Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing.
• Active RN license in Colorado.
• Board certifications: BLS, ACLS (PALS if required).
• Two years of experience in PACU or critical care preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, prioritization, and communication skills.

$34–$53 per hour, based on experience.
