Job Summary and Responsibilities
Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for a $20,000 sign‑on bonus.
Based on your location you may also be eligible for an additional relocation bonus up to $8,000 (some exclusions may apply).
As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient through the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.

Shift Differentials available
Day to Day Duties- Circulate and/or scrub on all cases.
- Primarily perform Gen, Ortho (trauma) Neuro, Spine, Eyes, ENT, GU, robotics (DaVinci XI/SI), Vascular, Endovascular, Cardiac, Trauma OB/GYN procedures.
- Work with specialized cardiac team while cross‑trained for all other services.
- Provide additional supplies and sterile instruments during operations.
- Assist with room turnover and restocking for next days’ cases.
- Advocate for the patient before, during and after surgery.
17 OR suites including 1 trauma room, a hybrid room, designated CVOR and a cystoscopy suite.
Approx. 450‑500 cases per month.
Schedule:
36 hrs/wk nights, variable days of the week and shift start times according to surgical volume and unit needs.
Call required approx. 4 call shifts in a 6‑week schedule block. Typically, no weekend call unless covering team members’ PTO.
30‑minute callback radius required.
Job RequirementsIn addition to bringing human kindness to the workplace each day, qualified nursing candidates will need the following:
Education Requirements- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
Nursing Diploma or by endorsement. - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs.
- One year of experience preferred.
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty.
- RN License required; current state nursing license or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
- Medium work – exert up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly.
Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center providing a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region. It is a Magnet‑designated hospital and a home base for Flight For Life Colorado. The facility includes four trauma rooms, a dedicated field‑to‑surgery suite, and offers life‑saving care in trauma, cardiology, stroke, neuroscience, breast imaging, cancer/oncology, surgery and more.
